Construction

We are proud of the top market share in explosion-proof work in Japan, and our staff is stationed in about forty petroleum refining and chemical plants across the country to support safe plant operation and the everyday life of people. A plant on a huge plot of land is equipped with diverse electric devices and measuring instruments, and our activities include suggestion about labor and energy saving, design, and work management of explosion-proof/general electrical and instrumentation work.
In addition, we recently deal with new installation work in different fields, such as food and drug plants and semiconductor factories, as well as overseas projects, mainly in Asia, resulting in a great reputation also in foreign countries.

Maintenance

Two pillars of Showa Astec are construction and maintenance to achieve the total planning of plants. In the domain of maintenance, we serve in a wide range of areas, including minor repair and modification on the plant premises, inspections, tests, diagnosis, service on motors, and remaining life estimation of motors, cables, and batteries, and gain the absolute trust of the customers. Our integrated support structure fulfills various needs today for further growth.

Express 21 Pte. Ltd.

Established in Singapore in 1996, Express 21 Pte. Ltd. is a trusted leader in electrical engineering and telecommunication cabling. Registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) under two L6-grade workheads—Electrical Engineering (ME05) and Internal Telephone Wiring (ME08)—the highest classification awarded, the company also holds additional registrations, including ME01, ME04, ME15, and EPU/CMP/10. These qualifications enable Express 21 to handle public sector projects of unlimited value and deliver complex, large-scale projects across both public and private sectors.

Office buildings

In addition to duties in plants, general electrical and instrumentation work is performed in office buildings, hospitals, commercial establishments, and airports to build up electrical and instrumentation facilities essential for our daily environment. We address customers’ needs regarding electrical equipment from designing lighting systems and suggesting labor and energy saving ideas to realizing them.
